We are Jay, Jack, and Simon, and through Hornell Hall, we secured an internship at Gary Soo's Chambers in July 2023. Working as mini-pupils in the Chambers was an eye-opening experience. We had the opportunity to observe the handling of a complex construction dispute through arbitration, gaining a better understanding of the arbitration process and the development of alternative dispute resolution in Hong Kong. We also acquired valuable experience in various legal research, drafting, and translation tasks, which are essential for our future legal careers. Overall, the internship was a rewarding experience, and we wholeheartedly recommend Hornellians to apply for it.
