Through personal experiences, the session highlights career choices—from technical roles to leadership positions—and strategies to overcome field challenges. Ir Wilson WONG, Associate Director of AECOM Asia Company Limited
Ir Wilson Wong is a Chartered Civil Engineer and holder of a master's degree in Transport and Business Management from Imperial College London, with 15+ years of global experience in infrastructure project management across Hong Kong, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and UK. He began his career at MTR Corporation and now leads major projects as Associate Director at AECOM, covering the full project lifecycle from planning, design, construction to operations. His key contributions include shaping Hong Kong's sustainable mobility through the latest “Hong Kong Major Transport Infrastructure Development Blueprint”.
As Founding Chairman of Future City Vision and HKIE Young Engineer of the Year Awardee, he drives urban mobility innovation while serving on HKIE's Logistics & Transportation Division Committee. Committed to developing future engineers, Wilson also serves as Guest Lecturer at HKU's Department of Civil Engineering and ICE’s Chartered Engineer Professional Reviewer.
