A practical and inspiring session on entering the Hong Kong banking industry. Tailored for university students from all disciplines, this talk highlights how early preparation can significantly boost your chances of joining competitive programmes like Management Trainee schemes.
Students will learn how to strategically enhance their profiles by:
• Pursuing professional qualifications such as HKIB’s Certified Banker (CB) Stage I and Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) Core Level modules;
• Actively participating in industry networking events to build connections and gain insights;
• Strengthening essential soft skills like communication, adaptability, and teamwork.
This session will help students understand what banks look for in future talent and how to take meaningful steps during university life to become standout candidates in the financial sector.
